How to size

3 steps to pick your size

Use these quick checks before you add to cart. If you want to compare sizes first, visit the Order Calculator or read How It Works for a quick overview.

1) Measure the fruit (or cluster)

Measure the widest point of the fruit (or the whole bunch) and allow a little extra room so the cover doesn’t press on the skin.

2) Think about growth

If the fruit is still developing, size for the expected final diameter—especially for apples, pears, stone fruit, and mangoes.

3) Allow space for tying/closing

Leave enough length to comfortably close and secure the cover around the stem/branch without gaps.

When in doubt, size up

A slightly larger cover is easier to fit, less likely to rub the fruit, and gives better all-around coverage.

Sizing tips

Best fit for better protection

For best results, install covers soon after fruit set. Make sure the mesh sits clear of the fruit surface, close fully, and secure the opening so pests can’t enter. Covers are breathable and water-porous, so you can leave them on through rain and watering. For setup tips, see How It Works, and if you still need help choosing, contact us.

Common use cases (and what to measure)

Measure the widest part of what you’re covering—single fruit, clusters, or caged protection—then choose the next size up if you want extra room.
